Our makers are constantly repairing their stuff with nifty solutions. They use their tools from the MakerLab or create for example replacement parts with their 3D printers. On this site we want to show you some repair projects and we will add more content as soon as the members repair something. We also want to connect repairing with a relaxing meetup with other makers where we also would take coffee or tea breaks together. So we called this ongoing project and spirit “Repair Café”.
Hopefully this site will give you some inspiration or ideas to fix your own things since that is a very sustainable thing to do. If you don’t order or buy new objects, you e.g. avoid polluting production, packaging and shipping ways. So think about repairing your broken things instead of buying new products – even if it’s very cheap.
