Bionic Hand

Project Bionic Hand is a remotely controlled robotic arm that imitates the motion of a glove, worn by the user. The glove relies on two main components: strain gauges that detect movement from the finger by changing its electrical resistance when strain is applied to them and a microcontroller that detects a change in the state of the strain gauges. Once motion of the fingers is detected, it is translated into motion of the robotic arm with the help of micro servo motors. Model by InMoov
